Considerate Contractors Awards
The awards ceremony for 2008/09 was held on the 29th May and was very well attended by Roads Contractors and Utility Companies - Awards are given to the Best Utility Contractor, the Best Roads Contractor a Peoples Award and Most Improved Contractor.
The Considerate Contractor Road works scheme aims to ensure that inconvenience and disruption to residents, businesses and road users are kept to an absolute minimum, and to improve the co-ordination of all kinds of works and events on the public road network, and more importantly improve public safety. |
